After the 2010 Haiti Earthquake, architecture students Anna Stork and Andrea Sreshta were inspired to create a sustainable solution for a critical need: light. They invented the LuminAID, the world's first inflatable solar lantern.

Anna and Andrea got their big break on Shark Tank, where they received offers from all 5 'Sharks' and reached millions of consumers with their idea for a lightweight solar lantern that packs flat.
Today, LuminAID's technology has expanded to a full line of versatile solar lanterns and phone chargers. We're proud to partner with nonprofits in over 100 countries, and to be used by consumers around the world for camping, travel, emergency preparedness, and backyard fun.
